Visuals are so essential in content marketing. As you know, reading in training is difficult and so boring for our brain, as it is time-consuming. We have to identify definite features in letters to be able to read them. Our brain translates every letter in a picture. Reading lot of words makes a bottleneck, which actually loads your brain with unnecessary data. People are 80% more likely to read a piece of content simply because it includes colored visuals and as you know 90% of the information transmitted to the brain is visual. Actually, we process images very fast and remember them much better because the brain processes visual information 60,000 times faster than text and Neuromarketing science has proven it.

How visuals help the memory

In fact, people will only remember 10% of what you say 72 hours later, however, if you had a picture, it goes up to 35% and if you have both the picture and word together, it increases to a very high 65%. Using lots of relevant visuals grabs people’s attention, but also helps them to remember the training information. An easy explanation has made the visual techniques more beloved. Simple presentation, complex information, and figures can be easily introduced very simply on graphs and charts, pictures and diagrams and it prohibits dissipation of time. Also, it is more enjoyable than other ways of marketing. Visual content is the life power of your content and can help you position your brand as a cut above the rest. It displays pictures and we can use it for education and information purposes. It is an important way to enhance your communication and level up your social media and increase traffic.

Why visual content marketing is important?

Did you know that 40% of people reply better to an image than 1,000 words? Nowadays 63% of social media is made up of images. 46% say a website’s design is the Number 1 standard for discerning a company’s reliability and validity. Content with related images gets 94 % more views than content without. 700 YouTube videos are shared on Twitter every minute. All people devote 100% more time on pages that have videos on them.  Everyone who watches a product video is 85% more likely to procurement that product. So if you want to be successful in your marketing, if you want to upgrade your visuals, if you want to grow your customers, leads, followers, fans, and on top of all, your income… you must focus on visual content marketing in your marketing strategy.
